The city’s Azam Mosque hosted the event on Tuesday after Maghrib and Isha prayers.
A large number of religious and political figures attended the memorial service.
Ayatollah Shahroudi, who lived in Qom after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, was a prominent Faqih (Islamic jurist) teaching in the seminaries of Najaf and Qom.
He died in a hospital in Tehran on Sunday and his funeral was held in Qom on Tuesday morning.
