Speaking at a ceremony to launch two Quranic centers in Gonbad Kavus, northeastern province of Golestan, on Sunday, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini noted that that Quranic institutes receive permission for their activities from the Islamic Culture and Guidance Ministry, Islamic Development Organization, and Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, IRIB reported.
He also referred to efforts for promoting Quran memorization in the country, saying Quranic institutes play a major role in these efforts.
According to the official, some 100,000 people take Quran memorization courses organized by the institutes.
