Karamat Celebrations Planned in 200 Cities around the World
Celebrations marking the Ten-day Karamat Occasion will be held in 200 cities in different parts of the world.
They are held during the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS).
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Arbabsoleimani, secretary of the committee in charge of organizing the event, other programs on the occasion include the Imam Reza (AS) Festival.
He said the festival begins in the holy city of Qom, continues in Shiraz and ends in the holy city of Mashhad.
He noted that all of the countries’ cultural and administrative bodies will have programs during the ten-day Karamat occasion.
According to managing director of Imam Reza (AS) International Foundation Seyyed Javad Jafari, the Imam Reza (AS) Festival is held for the 10th consecutive year with the aim of developing and fostering the Razavi culture and arts.
