Entitled "Beautiful Voices”, it will be held in the categories of best recitation, Tawasheeh and Ibtihal, khabarmasr website reported.
The center’s "Quran, Recitations and Talented Voices” section will host the contest on May 13-16.
Both men and women, either Egyptian or foreign national, can take part in the Quranic event but there is an age limit as the contender should not be older than 35.
Winners of the competition will be honored and awarded at a ceremony slated for the 19th day of the holy month of Ramadan (June 14).
They will also represent the Islamic center as Qaris in conferences, religious and cultural programs, TV and radio programs and ceremonies in Egypt.
Egypt is known in the Muslim world as a country where some of the best Quran reciters have emerged in recent decades.
They include prominent Qaris like Abdul Basit Abdus Samad, Mohammed Siddiq Al-Minshawi, Shahat Mohamed Anwar, and Mustafa Esmail.
