According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the group of Quran reciters was sent by ICRO’s International Propagation Center at the invitation of Afghanistan’s Supreme Quran Council.

It performed different Quranic programs in the Afghan capital of Kabul.

They included Quran recitations and Tawasheeh (religious signing) performances in the city’s mosques, Mosalla (prayer ground) and TV programs.

The Karamat Festival marks the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.

Tuesday was the first day of the lunar Hijri month of Dhul Qaada, which marks the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).

Imam Reza (AS) birthday anniversary will be celebrated on the 11th day of Dhul Qaada, which falls on August 4 this year.
