According to alwatanvoice.com, a number of Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas) officials as well as different groups of people participated in the program.

Nasim Yasin, a Hamas official, said in the program that men of mosques and Quranic circles pave the way for freedom and the freedom of Palestine depends on training the youth based on Quranic teachings.

In another program titled "”Unity, The Way of Freedom” held at Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib Mosque in east of Gaza, a group of Quran memorizers including 9 memorizers of the entire Quran and 97 memorizers of some Juzes (parts) of the Quran were honored.

Addressing the program, Mahir Sabra, another Hamas official stressed the necessity for more support for training Quran memorizers.

The Center of Quran Memorization of Hamza Mosque is the first Quranic center in east of Gaza which has trained many Quran memorizers and top Quran experts.
