The were some damages to the base as a result of the attack but no casualties have been reported.
In response, the resistance forces opened fire on Israeli helicopters flying nearby.
The situation has been tense in the Occupied Palestine since a few weeks ago when US President Donald Trump announced Quds as the capital of the Israeli regime.
The move drew widespread condemnation worldwide with analysts predicting that it will bring about the third Palestine Intifada (uprising) against the Zionist regime.
