Plans for Holding Quran Exhibitions in All Cities in Iran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Quran and Etrat deputy of Iran’s Culture Ministry said efforts are underway to organize Quran exhibitions in all cities across the country in the coming Iranian year (begins on March 21).

  

Speaking at a meeting with a number of parliamentarians in Tehran on Sunday, Abdol Hadi Feqhizadeh said that while the capital, Tehran, annually hosts the biggest Quran exhibition, there are efforts to mount such expos in all of the 429 cities in the country in the year 1397 (March 21, 2018- March 21, 2019).

He also referred to Ayat Festival, Ramadan celebrations, and Quran and Etrat weeks, as other programs planned to be held in different provinces by the ministry’s Quran and Etrat deputy.

The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the culture ministry during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

The expo and other such exhibitions elsewhere in the country showcase the latest Quranic achievements as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
