Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh Center Planned in India’s Hyderabad

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Head of Feyz Aam Institute in Hyderabad, the capital of India's southern state of Telangana, voiced readiness for establishing a Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh center in the city.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, in a meeting with head of the Iranian Culture House in Hyderabad, Iftikhar Hussein announced the institute’s readiness for setting up the center in cooperation with the Culture House.

Elaborating on the activities of the institute, he said it provides financial assistance to destitute students and also works to promote spiritual activities.

He said the institute has already established a Nahj-ul-Balaqa center in the city to disseminate the teachings of the book.

Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh is a collection of 54 supplications of Imam Sajjad (AS), the fourth Shia Imam.

It is known as the Zabur of Al-e Muhammad (AS) and contains themes varying from theology to ethics, prayers and the status of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

Nahj-ul-Balaqa is a collection of sermons, precepts, prayers, epistles and aphorisms of Imam Ali (AS) compiled by al-Sayyid al-Sharif al-Radi about one thousand years ago.
