TEHRAN (IQNA) – A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to the conviction of whoever firebombed a mosque on Detroit, US state of Michigan, in September, according to federal and city officials.

Officials with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Detroit Fire Department announced the reward Tuesday.

They also released a sketch of the suspect.

The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Al-Qur’an wa Sunnah Society House of Worship, 19800 Van Dyke Ave., ATF officials said.

A witness told investigators an unknown male threw two Molotov cocktails at the south side of the building.

The suspect was last seen traveling south on Van Dyke Avenue in an early 2000, champagne-colored, four-door Oldsmobile with no license plate.
