Seminar to Discuss Iranian-Indian Art, Architectural Traditions

TEHRAN (IQNA) – India’s Jamia Millia Islamia and the Iranian Cultural Center in New Delhi will organize a seminar titled “Art and Architectural Traditions of India and Iran, Commonality and Diversity” from December 5 to 7.

 

Dr. M.A. Ansari Auditorim of the Islamic university will host the three-day seminar.

The Indian Council of Historical Research and Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts will cooperate in holding the program.

It will be addressed by Prof. Catherine B. Asher, from Department of Art history of Minnesota University.

Arun Goel (IAS), the Secretary of India’s Ministry of Culture will be the chief guest of the seminar.
