According to Jamal Shourjeh, the director of the biopic TV series, its production will take some five years to complete. be produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).
He said he had intended to make the series for years, hailing the opportunity to start working on the project.
He added that the series will be produced in 52 episodes.
Earlier, Shourjeh had said that a cinema town in Tehran will be used for the shooting of the movie.
The religious biopic series is based on Quranic descriptions and references from al-Mizan Exegesis of the Holy Quran by Allamah Seyyed Mohammad Hussein Tabatabaei.
Late Iranian director Farajolaeh Salahshour was in the process of writing the screenplay of the TV series at the time of his death.
