Egypt’s Al-Azhar to Hold Int’l Quran Memorization Contest
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international Quran memorization contest is planned in Egypt in April.
According to Sadi al-Ummah website, it will be organized at five levels, each for a certain age group.
The Arab country’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center is going to hold the Quranic event.
The preliminary round for Egyptian applicants is slated for March and April.
Those with best performances will represent the country in the final round, which will be hosted by Al-Azhar on April 29- May 4.
Winners will be announced and awarded during the holy month of Ramadan.
