60-Year-Old Palestinian Woman Receives Quran Recitation License
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A 60-year-old Palestinian woman was given an Ijazah Namah (Quran recitation permission) by eminent Palestinian Qari Sheikh Hani Al-Ali.
According to Safa website, Hajjah Yasra Al-Ghandour is the presenter of the Itqan Al-Sanad program at the Quran radio of Gaza.
The Palestinian woman has participated in Quranic programs of the radio channel since one and a half years ago and recited the Holy Quran in Hafs ‘an Asim style.
Zeyd Abu Zayid, the director of Gaza Quran radio congratulated the female Quran reciter on her success in getting the permission which is one of the major Quranic licenses.
Ijazah Namah is a license authorizing its holder to teach and recite the Holy Quran with Tajweed.
