Quranic Calligraphy Workshop Held in Russia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic calligraphy workshop was held in Russia in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in the country.
The workshop featured calligraphy of verses from the Quran as well as the phrase Bismillah (In the Name of God) and Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim (In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful).
A number of Iranian calligraphers, including Ahmad Ariamanesh, Mehdi Jamshidi and Gholam Reza Rahpeyma were present at the event to present their artworks and teach calligraphy.
The Hadiyeh Cultural Center in Moscow hosted the workshop from January 15 to 19.
