According to G365 website, it will kick off today, February 9, in a ceremony to be attended by religious officials.
Abdul Aziz al-Sabihin, secretary of the competition, said 96 children with disabilities will take part in the Quranic event.
He said they represent institutes, schools and centers in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.
A total of 155 children had signed up for the contest, of whom 96, including 52 boys and 44 girls, qualified for the event, he went on to say.
