40 Quran Memorizer Children Honored in Yemen
TEHRAN (IQNA) – At a ceremony held in the city of Tarim, Yemen’s Hadhramaut governorate, 40 boys and girls who have memorized the Quran were honored.
According to alkhalij website, they were among 125 graduates of Quranic and religious institutes in the city who were honored at the event.
The al-Dawah Charity Society organized the ceremony earlier this week, the report said.
Among those who graduated the Quran memorization courses in the city and honored at the ceremony was also a 50 year-old man.
Quranic activities continue in Yemen despite a four-year aggression launched by Saudi Arabia and its allies against the impoverished Arab country that has left thousands killed and many more injured and homeless.
