Iran’s 36th International Quran Competition is slated to officially kick off in the capital Tehran on Wednesday and run until April 14.
Simultaneously, four other international Quran contests, - those for women, school students, seminary students, and the visually-impaired- will be held in Tehran and Qom.
A total of 184 Quran activists from 84 countries have made it to the semi-final round of the contests.
