Quran Recitation Course Underway in Lebanon
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A specialized course on Quranic Maqaamaat (melody or tunes in Quran recitation) has been organized in Bint Jbeil town of Nabatiye Governorate in southern Lebanon.
According to Qaaf news agency, the Union of Bint Jbeil Municipalities has organized the Quranic program, titled “Bi’that Nabawi” (prophetic mission), which started on April 3 on the occasion of Eid al-Mab’ath.
Sayyed Hussein Al-Sayyed, a prominent Qari and teacher of Quranic sciences, is the instructor of the course.
Sowt and Lahn, Maqaamaat, Ibtihal and Tawasheeh are among the themes of the 30-session educational program.
