TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s representative in the 10th international Quran competition of Kuwait won the fourth rank.

 

Hamid Reza Moqaddasi took part in the Quran recitation category of the contest.

Mohammad Yusef Darvishi also competed for Iran in the international Quranic event.

The 11-year-old, who took part in the category of memorization of the entire Quran for teenagers, came sixth in this category.

The awarding ceremony of the competition will be held at the royal palace in Kuwait City on Wednesday.

Quran memorizers and Qaris from 80 countries have attended the contest, which started last Tuesday.
