Shia Studies Conference Planned in London
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic College in the British capital plans to organize its 5th annual conference featuring Shia studies later this month.
Issa Jahangiri, the dean of the college, told IQNA that the international conference will be held on April 27-28.
Shi‘ism, Judaism, and Christianity, and Quran and Hadith: New Questions are the main themes of the scholarly event.
Referring to other activities of the college, he said it organizes short-term courses on Islamic subjects.
The Islamic College is a London-based academic institution specializing in Islamic Studies at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels.
Its degree programs are validated by Middlesex University.
