Quranic Courses for Prayer Leaders of Mosques Underway in Russia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Russia has organized Quranic courses for imams of Sunni Muslims’ mosques in different parts of the country.
Moscow and Saint Petersburg are among the cities hosting the educational Quranic programs.
The courses have also been received by other groups as school and university staff as well as seminarians and academic figures have participated in the programs, too.
Quran recitation principles such as Sowt and Lahn are among the subjects instructed in the courses.
The main objective of the programs is to promote the Quranic skills and knowledge of the imams of mosques.
