Visually-Impaired Quran Memorizers Honored in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The governor of Al-Sharqia governorate of Egypt in a ceremony honored two visually-impaired children who have learned the entire Quran by heart.

 

According to sharkiatoday website, the two Quran memorizers, who are brother and sister, received special certificates of achievement at the ceremony.

Ahmed and Maryam Ibrahim Dasouqi live in a village near Minya Al Qamh County in al-Sharqia.

They were also gifted a series of educational books in braille.

The governor appreciated the two for managing to memorize the entire Quran and said they are good role model for society.
