Imam Reza’s (AS) Special Salawaat Calligraphed in Russia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The special Salawaat (salutation) upon Imam Reza (AS) was calligraphed by Iranian calligrapher Nasir Tawousi in Moscow, Russia.
The artwork was created in a ceremony held on the occasion of Imam Reza’s (AS) birthday anniversary at the Fatemeh Zahra (SA) Husseiniyah in the Raussian capital.
Tawousi was in Russia to supervise a calligraphy competition held on the occasion of Keramat Ten Day festival in Grozny, Chechnya.
The Iranian artist has exhibited his artworks at different universities of Moscow and they have been received very well.
Shia Muslims in Moscow hold various ceremonies during the festival which marks the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS).
The calligraphy artwork was gifted to Fatemeh Zahra (SA) Husseiniyah of Moscow.
