Leader Congratulates Iran U-21 Volleyball Team on Winning World Championship
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in a message congratulated the Iranian U-21 volleyball team on winning the World Championship.
According to Khamenei.ir, the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution reads:
“In the Name of Allah the Most Beneficent the Most Merciful
Dear youth,
I congratulate you on winning the world championship. You brought joy to the Iranian nation’s hearts; I thank you.”
Iran on Saturday claimed the title of the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship for the first time in its history.
The Iranian team eased past Italy 3-2 (17-25, 25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 15-12) at the Isa Sport City in Bahrain.
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship was held in Bahrain on July 18-27.
