Int’l Forum on Teaching Quran to Disabled Panned in Medina
According to the Okaz newspaper, the King Fahd Complex for Printing and Publication of the Holy Quran will organize the forum titled “teaching Quran to the physically impaired; evaluation of the reality and a glance at the future”.
The international program has been planned in line with the series of projects implemented by the complex to promote teaching of the Quran and Quranic sciences and develop teaching methods and means of teaching Quran to the disabled.
According to Bandar bin Fahd Al-Suwailem, secretary-general of the complex, among the activities of the complex are printing the holy Quran in Braille, printing interpretations of Quranic concepts in the sign language and publication of audio teaching of the Quran for the visually-impaired.
