The secretariat of the Committee for Inviting and Dispatching Quran Reciters and Memorizers said in a statement that Feizi was selected as Iran’s representative after finishing as the top participant in a special program held in Tehran on Monday.
Eleven Quran memorizers took part in the program where their performances were assessed by a panel of judges made up of top Quran experts.
Feizi scored the highest mark in the program and was, therefore, chosen as the Quran memorizer who will compete for Iran in the international event.
Born in 2011 in Tehran, Feizi is a memorizer of the entire Quran.
The 4th edition of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition will be held in Dubai in a few weeks.
Iran was represented in the previous editions of the contest by Hannaneh Khalafi, Zahra Sadat Hosseini and Zahra Khalili Samarin respectively.
