According to al-Manar TV network, the Society for Reviving Muslim Scholars’ Heritage will organize the event.

It will be attended by a number of Lebanese scholars, thinkers and political figures.

Addressing the ceremony, Sheikh Hassan Baghdadim a member of Hezbollah resistance movement’s central council, will speak about Imam Musa Sadr’s thoughts.

Sheikh Mahir Hamoud, the head of World Union of Resistance Scholars, will also deliver a speech titled "Imam Musa Sadr and Unknown Soldiers”.

Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions Mohammed Yaqoub and Abbas Badreddin were kidnapped in August 1978 during an official visit to the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

Sadr was scheduled to meet with officials from the government of the Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

The three were never seen or heard from again and their fate is still unknown even after the overthrow of Gaddafi regime in 2011.
