According to the website of the organization (ICRO), “Religion and Environment” is the title of the dialogue, slated to be held by ICRO’s Center for Dialogue among Religions and Cultures and the Korean Conference of Religions for Peace (KCRP).
A delegation of Catholic bishops and Buddhist leaders from South Korea, Archbishop Kim Hee-Joong, the president of the conference and Muslim scholars and intellectuals from Iran will participate at the program.
“Religious societies facing challenges of secularism” was the theme of the first round of the dialogue in 2012. The fifth round was held on “religion, peace and global security” in February 2015.
South Korean capital of Seoul hosted the sixth round of the interfaith meetings, which discussed role of spirituality in man’s life.
The Korean Conference on Religion and Peace (KCRP) is a subsidiary for Asian Conference of Religions for Peace (ACRP) which was proposed in Belgium in 1974.
