Quranic Session Planned in Bosnia on New Year’s Eve
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic session named “A Night with the Quran” is planned to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the New Year’s Eve.
It will be organized in the town of Kakanj on the last night of 2018 by the country’s Islamic Affairs Department.
A number of top Quran reciters from different parts of the Balkans as well as Turkey will take part in the program.
There will also be a number of Tawasheeh groups attending the event.
The program, which has been annually held over the past 20 years, aims to encourage the youth to participate in spiritual events.
Kakanj is a town and a municipality located in Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
