Watch: Winner of Tawasheeh Category at 46th Iran National Quran Contest
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Fatir Group from Mazandaran Province, north of Iran, won the top rank in the men’s tawasheeh category at the 46th Iran’s National Holy Quran Competition.
Winners of some categories were announced in a ceremony held on Sunday in Bojnourd, North Khorasan Province, where the competition is underway.
What follows is the performance of Fatir Group that led to their winning of the title.
The Sunday ceremony also provided prizes to the top winners of men’s supplication recitation, adhan, and women’s tawasheeh.
Organized by Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, the competition began on December 1 in Bojnourd and will run through December 9.
Winners of other categories, including Quran recitation and memorization, are expected to be commemorated at the closing ceremony of the event.
